The first shipment of Set My Heart On Fire has arrived at our Quiet Time Ministries offices. I received the email from Kayla letting me know they were here. By the time I got to the office the empty shelves were already full. And they are already flying off the shelves - hurray! I’m excited. One woman came in and bought 24 of them for friends as Christmas gifts. How cool is that! I am celebrating this book in a huge way - it is my great prayer that the Holy Spirit will sweep through our churches, through hearts of believers and set all of our hearts on fire. And may the Lord use this book to encourage others to set their sail to catch the move of the Holy Spirit in their lives as He transforms, comforts, and helps as only He can. And may the Lord bless us all this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Last night about 6 pm the doorbell rang. I ran, opened the door, and there on the ground was a package. Hmm - what could this be? I picked it up, took it to the kitchen, and looked closely to find out who the sender was. And I saw - Harvest House Publishers! Now I was excited. Why? Because it’s always exciting to open their packages - it’s always something amazing. I quickly opened the package and there it was - my copy of Set My Heart On Fire! Just at that moment my husband came to the kitchen and we both celebrated over the arrival of this latest in the 30 day journey series, Set My Heart On Fire - Experience The Power Of The Holy Spirit. The cover is beautiful and oh, how excited I am for this book to get into the hands of others. Oh, how I long for hearts to be set on fire for Jesus! In this picture you can see all four of the books in the 30 day journey series. I have a little ceremony I go through on the day a new book arrives. I line all my 30 day journey books up on our window sill in our family room just to look at what the Lord has done. And so that is where my new copy of Fire sits at this very moment. Whenever I walk through the family room I look over at those four books in total and complete amazement. You cannot imagine all that goes into producing that final book - I think of the hours of brainstorming and designing the outline of the book, then the hours of writing, then the hours of editing by Gene Skinner, my editor, and then the planning, marketing, sales, writing of copy, and so much more that is involved up there at Harvest House. To me it is an amazing, exciting process and I love every minute of it!!

And so, now our shelf at the Quiet Time Ministries Resource and Training Center awaits! Kayla, my assistant, has her own special work in advance of each book. She reorganizes everything and creates “the empty shelf” for our new book. All of us are realizing that we are running out of space and that in itself is totally amazing to us! We cannot wait for our shipment of Set My Heart On Fire to arrive. We are already receiving orders. As you can see, our companion DVDs, audio CDs, MP3s, and Journals are already on the shelf. And oh, I am so excited about the six companion messages for this 30 day journey. The Lord helped me and gave me the strength to write and film them in record time. Here are the titles: Life In The Spirit, Set My Heart On Fire, Good News On A Sad Day, The Power Of The Holy Spirit, Let The Rivers Flow, and The Fellowship Of Hearts On Fire. I encourage every person to grab a copy of this book, a companion DVD, and then get ready to engage in an incredible journey all about experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit.
